How to make an omelet that is perfect

Omelets have always been a favourite food to eat for breakfast. But how do you make them perfectly? Many different recipes and methods have failed to work for me. So I am sharing some tips and tricks today to help you make fluffy, delicious omelets every morning.

We should first know that eggs are very temperamental ingredients when making omelets. They must be fresh, preferably from the organic market, and be kept cold until cooking. If they are not kept cold enough, the whites won’t form properly. The yolks will also break down too quickly and become runny. This makes your omelets look weirdly colored. If you want to make omelets right away, it's best not to use eggs that are too cold.

Another tip is to separate each egg before adding them to the saucepan. You don't want any white to get mixed up with the yolk because this could cause the omelet to curdle.

The bottom part of an egg that is added directly to the stovetop might be burned, which could cause a ruined texture in your omelet. Instead, heat the egg for 10 seconds in the microwave before placing it in the pan. The microwave heat cooks your egg just right, without it becoming too soft.

Next, let’s talk about mixing the egg. Mix eggs well together. To do this, take the bowl from the mixer and flip it upside-down. Now shake the bowl vigorously. This way, the air inside the bowl gets whipped around and mixes the egg thoroughly.

Now comes the fun part: adding the milk to your mixture. Mix half of the milk with the eggs. Then fold the eggs in half into the remaining milk. You don't need to worry if streaks remain. They will disappear once you flip your omelet.
